General Responsibilities:
• Management of and direct involvement in all project phases, including: concept, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding & pricing support, permitting, and construction administration.
• Interact with clients and cultivate relationships. Point of contact for contractors, consultants (including engineering, food service, acoustic, AV, IT, security, furniture, etc.), and suppliers/vendors.
• Write proposals, create project fee projections, monitor fees, oversee project billings (including managing consultant fees & invoicing), and coordinate with accounting team.
• Lead multiple accounts / projects simultaneously; coordinate scheduling; direct small teams (typically 2-3 staff per project); participate in weekly staffing projections.
• Drawing & detail production; Code research and interpretation; plan check review and negotiation; FF&E selection and coordination.
• Commercial landlord support services, including: leasing & marketing support – working directly with property management teams & brokers for hypothetical space plans, area calculations, building-standard finish upgrades & palettes, etc.
• Base building architectural services, including: support for core & shell improvement projects, upgrading restrooms, parking, sidewalks; overseeing tenant improvement projects, & reviewing outside architect’s drawings, etc.
